We are so lucky to have been sent some of the Playmobil Dinos sets to review and it was fair to say from the moment they arrived L was rather excited, but due to some less than desirable behaviour he had to wait a little while until he could open them. Not great for me as I like to crack on with reviews but sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do as a parent.Continue reading Playmobil Dinos – Review
Do your kids have sleepovers yet? L seems to be in the minority amongst his friends in that he does. L and his best friend from nursery have had several sIeepovers and they love it. Even If they are little terrors.
It helps that we are good friends with the parents and that both of us are happy for the other to look after and tell each others children what’s what!Continue reading Sleepover fun with SO DIY
All summer long we had builders in working on our extension. Mostly the weather was great so we were just chilling out in the garden, or we had days out planned. When we were tired we still had an internet connection so we could watch Netflix in the conservatory. It genuinely wasn’t too bad.
However, some days we were home, the weather was rubbish and on many of those days we had no internet as, on occasion, it had to be unplugged so things could be built. Those days were long. So freaking long.Continue reading The Perfect Toy For Surviving Building Work
Disclosure – We have been gifted a fabulous box of Toy Story 4 goodies from shopDisney to celebrate Toy Story 4 hitting the cinemas. All thoughts, opinions and images are my own.
I’m not sure I even know where to start with this. The first Toy Story was released in 1995 when I was 11 years old. It’s magic is something I have grown up with and now with Toy Story 4 soon hitting the cinema screens I am getting ready to share the excitement with L.Continue reading Toy Story 4 Mischief and Play

We have a lot of SuperZings in our house. L loves them, they are fun and easy to play with. They are small enough he can grab a handful to take out with him anywhere and come with fun playsets that keep him amused for hours. Plus, they are pocket money prices, winner! We have been sent a bundle of the new Series 3 Rivals of Kaboom SuperZings to have a look at and L was thrilled.Continue reading SuperZings Rivals of Kaboom
We’re at the midway point of the Easter Holidays and despite being ridiculously busy with a load of fun stuff, and some very not so fun stuff, I always like to have some quick hit activities ready to go. The Beaker Creature Reactor Pods from Learning Resources are the perfect fun activity that requires no set up, little to no cleaning up and provides a whole heap of entertainment.Continue reading Beaker Creatures Reactor Pods – Review and Giveaway
I have to admit I have never been a big Halloween fan, but L loves it so much, his joy over this fun holiday has spread throughout the house.
In the past I would have done nothing other than turn of the lights and pretend I wasn’t home. Maybe when I was a teenager I would have found myself at a Halloween party, but other than shoving a novelty witches hat on my head it would have been no different to any other weekend with my friends. Continue reading All Treats No Tricks this Halloween
We go on holiday a lot with the kid, maybe two or three family breaks a year. We’ll camp, boat, caravan, we really don’t care but one thing they have all had in common is they have been self catering in the UK. They have also been work, reviews for this blog. We haven’t had a family holiday in the sun at all since L was born and technically I haven’t had a holiday at all.
