With the summer holidays looming it’s always good to have some activities up your sleeve for a rainy day. For us one of the things we go back to time and time again are fossil dig kits. They are simple and easy to use and happily keep L occupied for quite a while depending on the size. We’ve recently tried the Dig & Display Fossil Kit from Learning Resources and its one of the best we have had!Continue reading Dig & Display Fossil Kit
We’re always up for trying new games at home. Especially ones that get us outside. Need a hand keeping the house in shape? Well why not get the kids involved, or at least keep them busy playing so you can whip round with the vacuum! It seems to be a constant battle in our house to keep on top of things, I’ll clean and then turn my back and it’s back to how it was.Continue reading Win a Melissa & Doug Spring Cleaning Bundle
It’s a ball but it’s not a ball. It’s solid but it’s soft. You can throw it, roll it, squish it and stretch it. Juggleezz is a lot of things but mostly it’s just very good fun.Continue reading Juggleezz

We are so lucky to have been sent some of the Playmobil Dinos sets to review and it was fair to say from the moment they arrived L was rather excited, but due to some less than desirable behaviour he had to wait a little while until he could open them. Not great for me as I like to crack on with reviews but sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do as a parent.Continue reading Playmobil Dinos – Review
Do your kids have sleepovers yet? L seems to be in the minority amongst his friends in that he does. L and his best friend from nursery have had several sIeepovers and they love it. Even If they are little terrors.
It helps that we are good friends with the parents and that both of us are happy for the other to look after and tell each others children what’s what!Continue reading Sleepover fun with SO DIY
All summer long we had builders in working on our extension. Mostly the weather was great so we were just chilling out in the garden, or we had days out planned. When we were tired we still had an internet connection so we could watch Netflix in the conservatory. It genuinely wasn’t too bad.
However, some days we were home, the weather was rubbish and on many of those days we had no internet as, on occasion, it had to be unplugged so things could be built. Those days were long. So freaking long.Continue reading The Perfect Toy For Surviving Building Work
Disclosure – We have been gifted a fabulous box of Toy Story 4 goodies from shopDisney to celebrate Toy Story 4 hitting the cinemas. All thoughts, opinions and images are my own.

It’s magic is something I have grown up with and now with Toy Story 4 soon hitting the cinema screens I am getting ready to share the excitement with L.Continue reading Toy Story 4 Mischief and Play
