Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week I thought I’d share my least favourite things, the ones that really annoy me, I’ll warn you most of them are entirely irrational. Continue reading This Plus That Equals…. #11→
This plus that equals…. why I’m not cut out for exercising.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week I thought I’d share the reasons me and exercise do not mix well, obviously I know it’s good for me, so I’m making an effort to do more of it, quite specifically cycling, but I do really think that it’s got it in for me. We love a good board game and when we went away for Easter we were really happy to take along SHOUT! a really fun game from Drumond Park.
Shout! from Drumond Park
This was perfect for us as it can be played with only two people but teams can pretty much get as large as you want them and let me tell you it is hilarious! It’s filled with quirky questions and funny picture puzzles that you have to make connections with and some of them will leave you feeling like you’ve gone crazy, whilst other’s are refreshingly easy. This plus that equals…. how to rock being a toddler
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week I thought I’d share some of the ways my son has got being a two year old down to a fine art shudders
We might be a bit behind the times but we have only just found Articulate! from Drumond Park. Of course I had heard of it but we had never played it so I was very excited to get the chance to review it, I’m just as excited to have a copy to give away to one lucky reader.

What things do your kids say that just make you melt?
L is at the stage with his learning that new words are coming thick and fast. Sometimes they are very amusing and sometimes he is just so cute it makes me melt inside.
At the moment my favourite words are Apple or ‘papple’ which is just really sweet I also love that he calls any horse or donkey a ‘keekaw’. If he wants to be picked up he looks and me and says ‘mup’ and cuddles are ‘cuggle’. Aww.
Silly Cuddles
What is not so great but highly amusing/embarrassing depending on the situation are the rude mispronunciations.
We currently have an issue with socks and sticks. Hmmmm.
So what words do your kids have it make you melt inside or laugh out loud?
