The weather is turning and like animals coming out from hibernation I’ve noticed my neighbours out in their gardens, starting to do the jobs they’ve been putting off and I am amongst them!
This year it looks like far more of the gardening will be falling on my shoulders so I have been eager to find a few things to make my life easier.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about a few things I would like to get sorted now that Spring has sprung.
The one thing that I have always felt has been missing from our garden is a water feature. But with L I have to be careful over what I pick. It has to be a child friendly water feature. I have to have confidence it that. Of course I turned to Primrose, with such a wide range of stock they have never let me down.
The barren spot in our garden I wanted to spruce up
I know it can feel like we get a bit of a raw deal when it comes to Summer in the UK. Heavy rain one week followed by a week of heat almost unheard of. Then before you know it there’s a definite chill to the air morning and evening and the sense that Autumn is knocking on the door.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about why I love my garden, I’m no great gardener but I wouldn’t be without my garden.
I love getting outdoors with L, we are always playing and investigating the world together. I’m a big believer in getting grubby and just having fin but recently it has become apparent that maybe I need to be teaching him a bit more about nature.
