We love a good board game and when we went away for Easter we were really happy to take along SHOUT! a really fun game from Drumond Park.
Shout! from Drumond Park
This was perfect for us as it can be played with only two people but teams can pretty much get as large as you want them and let me tell you it is hilarious! It’s filled with quirky questions and funny picture puzzles that you have to make connections with and some of them will leave you feeling like you’ve gone crazy, whilst other’s are refreshingly easy. I have already been lucky enough to review a couple of the Boxcitement Subscription Boxes and I loved them, so I was more than happy to take a peak at the Animal Magic Box they sent out last month.
If you missed my previous reviews Boxcitement is a subscription box service that sends you a letterbox friendly box filled with lovely things, designed to excite, perfect for people who love to give gifts and receive them too, with cards, stationery, jewellery, the cute and the kitsch.
Now I’m a great lover of chocolate, I have rather large bottom and thighs as proof, but that doesn’t mean you want the entire contents of Asda’s chocolate aisle showing up at your doorstep over one weekend. So I have pulled together some fab alternatives to chocolate for the kids and the grown ups. Continue reading Easter Without The Chocolate→
We love being art of the Baker Ross Blogger Network and our latest delivery contained loads of fun Easter and Spring crafts, so I straight away thought Easter Egg hunt, all we needed was some sun!
Have you found Hochanda yet? It’s a TV shopping channel that specialises in crafts, lots and lots of amazing crafts.
You can find them on Sky 663 and FreeSat 817 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and on Freeview 39 from 6am until 9pm. I warn you it’s addictive. The kind of channel you realise you’ve been watching for two hours and you don’t know where the time went, well at least if you love crafts like I do!
Tomorrow is Mother’s Day and it’s not too late if you’ve forgotten as it doesn’t take much to make it really special. Here are my tips and I know they are good ones, because as a mum they would make me happy. Continue reading A Little Something Special from Champney’s→
For my birthday I was given a great new book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends to help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday and on Wednesday’s I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.
Just a normal week with this little fella
This week has been fairly boring, thankfully! There have been some lovely moments, some toddler tantrum not so lovely moments and some fairly mundane moments. It’s actually been quite normal and peaceful which is always nice.
We might be a bit behind the times but we have only just found Articulate! from Drumond Park. Of course I had heard of it but we had never played it so I was very excited to get the chance to review it, I’m just as excited to have a copy to give away to one lucky reader.
Articulate
The husband and I enjoy a good board game, we really do, it’s something a bit different to do of an evening. It means the TV and tech is put to one side for a bit, it means we converse, often laugh, sometimes bicker and generally have fun. Continue reading Articulate – Review and Competition→
Husb has recently been wearing a rather stylish T-Shirt from Oscar Millennium. One I picked out for him to get a bit more colour and style into his wardrobe.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like he is always wearing awful clothes, but he like me, never treats himself to the things he really wants and left to his own devices would own nothing outside of the grey scale! So it’s been a pleasure to get to review one of the new range from Oscar Millennium. Continue reading Oscar Millennium – Review and Competition→
