Never one to turn down chocolate I was very intrigued to try the offerings from Conscious Chocolate. As a general rule I don’t go too fancy with my chocolates, I prefer a good quality dark chocolate over a milk, but it tends to just be off the shelf from the supermarket and enjoyed of an evening. Conscious Chocolate offers something a bit different, being a raw chocolate and I was intrigued to give it a go.Continue reading Conscious Chocolate – A Review
I don’t know about you but it doesn’t seem like a year has past since last Father’s Day, my sense of time has been completely scrambled with all the lockdowns and back and forth this last 12 months has bought us. But yet it is fast approaching so, if it has taken you by surprise, as it has me, I’ve got you covered with some great gift ideas.Continue reading Father’s Day Gift Guide 2021
For a very long time my husband has wanted to drive some very fast cars around a track. He’s always been a little jealous that I’ve been able to do some pretty awesome driving experiences and he misses his motorbike which he’s taken round a track more than once. So when Buyagift asked if we’d like to review one of their many experiences for Father’s Day I already had a good idea what I’d choose for him.Continue reading Four Supercar Driving Blast from Buyagift
I cannot believe how quickly Easter is coming round! Working in a supermarket surrounded by eggs from December I almost become immune to it, but in a few short weeks it’ll be here! With that in mind I’ve found some lovely Easter gifts, from classic chocolate treats to some more lasting gifts.Continue reading Easter Gift Guide 2021
Mother’s Day is coming. Last year saw us mums celebrate during the 1st weekend of lockdown number one. It seemed ok, and we had a little laugh about the restaurant gift vouchers we received and couldn’t use and had no idea that the promised spa day would be so very away.
This year it looks like it will be more of the same, potentially a socially distanced walk could be on the cards, but who really knows! So I feel like it’s wise to plan gifts assuming we will not actually be able to see one another and I certainly won’t be able to repeat the heavenly year I went away with a friend for Mother’s Day and we left our children at home.
So here are a few of my picks for celebrating another locked down Mother’s Day.Continue reading Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2021

We’ve just had Valentine’s Day and this would have been an ideal gift for the one you love. Mother’s Day is fast approaching and I know my mum would love a sweet treat and some pictures of her grandson, maybe even some of me! There are birthdays and achievements to be celebrated and with everything as it is right now there doesn’t even need to be a reason to send someone a thoughtful present, a just because gift, is the best kind of gift.Continue reading ChocFACE makes the perfect gift
Valentine’s isn’t one of the holidays we overly celebrate but it’s been tough recently, so I’m grabbing any holiday I can and making the most of it. There’s nothing else in my diary! Plus, now definitely seems like the time to let the people you love, know that you love them.
I’ve been looking for some nice gifts for L and husb, some for me too, not because I can’t trust them to do it, just it’s nice to think about myself sometimes. There’s plenty to be had but I’ve narrowed my choices down to a few favourites.Continue reading Valentine’s Day 2021
I can’t believe we’re a good chunk into November already or that we are back in lockdown. Now really is the time to start gift shopping for Christmas though, get prepared and get organised. With that in mind I’ve pulled together a bit of inspiration for you all, hopefully you’ll find it useful.Continue reading Christmas Gift Guide 2020
After writing about some grown up Halloween experiences last week, it got me thinking about much fun it really would be to get away and do something different this year. That being said, I still the love the idea of having some flexibility around when you actually travel and not having to commit to dates unless you are ready to, so I’ve come up with some more options but this time from the fabulous Red Letter Days.Continue reading Spooky Treats from Red Letter Days
