Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about what presents L got for his birthday, lucky boy and what makes great 4th birthday gifts.
I love sending and receiving cards. I always have a stock in the house for emergencies and forgotten birthdays but as a general rule I like to pick something special for each person. Ayoma Cards have a new subscription box service that allows me to do both.
Zoe sells completely handmade and personalised greetings cards on her Etsy shop, which you should completely check out. But she has also launched Ayoma Cards Monthly, a new monthly subscription box service for the cards and I have tried it out.
For the longest time I have wanted to get an item of jewelry personalised with L’s name, fingerprint or date of birth. Just something special I can wear everyday and is special to me. I was delighted to be able to review some of the lovely mom jewelry from Centime.
It is fair to say that being a JCB Kids Brand Ambassador has made L’s year, a ready supply of digger and tractor themed goodies delivered to his door to test out has been no hardship for him.
This month the delivery couldn’t have been better timed, it was waiting for us the day we got home from Bluestone. We had just had a lovely break but L had been really unwell on the last day and we had just driven home, in one day, so L had been in the car all day. Tired, bored and poorly it wasn’t a pretty combination, so seeing a lovely JCB parcel when we got in really changed our evening He perked up straight away, playing happily whilst we unloaded and got ourselves a bit organised.
Research reveals parents are planning to spend the festive season – and beyond – sitting down and enjoying some good old family fun with their children. The market for table-top games is booming as ‘quality time’ becomes more precious than ever before. This may not a surprise to many of you, as I know you love playing a board game with your kids as much as I do.
I like to take a bit of time off in December, what with it being my favourite month and all. So to treat you all, during November I have arranged an amazing prize for you all. A Christmas Hamper filled to bursting with cool things.
I’m going to start by saying a massive thank you to all the fab brands who got involved, I hope you’ll love everything as much as I do.
Hopefully you saw the Animal Jam Twitter Party I helped host a few weeks back, well since then L has been sent a bundle of the toys to play with and guess what? He loves them! He’s always asking to play with his nanimals.
In case you don’t know much about Animal Jam, I certainly didn’t until recently. It’s an online game for kids that has been made with National Geographic. You get to collect animals, decorate their houses, change how they appear, play games and find out loads about the Animal Kingdom. Continue reading Animal Jam Fun→
