Emunity Detox Soft Drink Review

Just before L broke up for the Easter Holidays he trotted home telling me that you could actually eat Nettles! He was amazed. How do they not sting you? What do they taste like? Why would you want to? The timing was rather apt as I had just received my samples of Emunity, a detox health drink that contains Nettle for its healing and immunity-boosting benefits.

Canal Anti-Bacterial Slime

With the kids back at school I’m thinking more and more about handwashing and antibacterial hand gel again. Its been ok whilst he’s been home because I’m there to monitor everything and have plenty of moisturiser. I can’t be there all the time though. We’ve recently been using the Anti-Bacterial Slime from Canal Toys and it’s been fun.

This summer L has ditched the stabilisers so we’re literally just waiting for the first tumble and grazed elbows and knees. Plus we are literally living in a building site at the moment!

‘Tis the season to be sneezing (and wheezing?)

Hello and welcome summer. Last weekend was the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures soaring to a blissful 28 degrees in some areas. As residents of this fair isle, it’s tradition to celebrate the coming of the sun by stripping down to as few clothes as possible and plonking ourselves down in the nearest patch of greenery with the family; a guaranteed lovely day out for children and adults alike…or is it? Sadly, for more than just a few, a day out in nature in early summer can, in truth, be a nightmare of sneezing, runny noses and itchy eyes…
