I little while ago I was approached by Lakeland to review one of the amazing products they stock, Doddle Bags. We were completely won over and you can read why here.
Not long after the review, Nadine, the creator of Doddle Bags got in touch to say thanks and sent us a lovely gift of paints, canvas’s and more Doddle Bags with the paint brush attachments.
This plus that equals…. Easy Toddler Kitchen Hacks
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about fuss free and easy ways to get the kitchen with your toddler. L like most toddlers loves helping me cook, but it can get messy and stressful, so here are some of my top kitchen hacks.
For my birthday I was given a great new book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends to help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday and on Wednesday’s I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.
Today has been a busy boring day but this week has been amazing! Spending time with friends, meeting idols, some amazing weather and perfect days out. So it has been hard picking just ten moments.
I recently took a trip to my local Hobbycraft in Norwich to grab a few bits so that L and I could make some fun Father’s Day gifts. Now L is only two and half years old, there is a limit to what he can craft but no limit to the mess he can make, or the fun he will have making it!

So we pushed back the rug, got him into his little craft apron, these are brilliant and only cost £1, well worth purchasing one, and then we set about immortalising Daddy by creating a portrait of him.
I love getting outdoors with L, we are always playing and investigating the world together. I’m a big believer in getting grubby and just having fin but recently it has become apparent that maybe I need to be teaching him a bit more about nature.

Oh my word wasn’t the weather over the weekend AMAZING, if anything was going leave me calm and happy it was a hot weekend filled with splashy paddling pool fun, a few ciders and a BBQ at my sister’s. I’m slightly concerned that we’ve used up all the good weather though, we’re off to Devon at the weekend and last year we got the worst weather, this year I would at least like it to be dry.
Paddling Pool Fun
I’m not sure if I’ll update my top ten next week, or do a top 20 when we’re back, but in the meantime here are my top 10 moments from the past 7 days;
We love being art of the Baker Ross Blogger Network and our latest delivery contained loads of basic crafting staples, it was really good to get back to those basics and just enjoy some of the simple pleasures of crafting with the little one.
This plus that equals…. how to rock being a toddler
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week I thought I’d share some of the ways my son has got being a two year old down to a fine art shudders
We love being art of the Baker Ross Blogger Network and our latest delivery contained loads of fun Easter and Spring crafts, so I straight away thought Easter Egg hunt, all we needed was some sun!
It doesn’t matter how hard I try, sometimes I have to work whilst the little one occupies himself.
The main problem with this is that as soon as I am doing something, he decides that is way more exciting than whatever was holding his attention up until that point, so I have had had to become the master of quick and easy activities that he actually loves.
