Feeling Calm #88

For my birthday last year I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

This week has been lovely. Busy, but lovely. It seems that time is just rushing by me at the moment and I’m struggling to keep my head above water, but at least I’m busy with fun things.

Feeling Calm #87

For my birthday last year I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

This week has been tiring. L has decided that sleep is not really the in thing anymore and as such refuses to do it for long. I’m so tired! It’s been a nice week though. Really nice actually.

Feeling Calm #86

For my birthday last year I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

This week has felt somewhat more normal. We’ve had some fun, been a bit more relaxed and mostly we have been in charge of our own schedule without being pulled in multiple directions by multiple people. In big news though we have started looking at schools for L next year.

My Treat Day with Olverum

One of my plans this month was to do something just for me. Nothing big. Nothing special. But to take time out to do something purely for me. So I had a bath. A perfect bath. Thanks to OlverumContinue reading My Treat Day with Olverum

Feeling Calm #85

For my birthday last year I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

This week has been a catch up week. Still busy but less crazy. I’ve been feeling really ill, which is hardly a shock considering I haven’t stopped in weeks. I feel I’m getting there though.

This weekend L had his fourth birthday party the first one he has had with all of his friends. It was lovely and he had so much fun. I even found the time, somehow, to bake his cake.

Feeling Calm #83

For my birthday last year I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

My baby boy is four years old and we had the best weekend celebrating at Chessington World of Adventures. Everything seemed so busy and stressful up to that point and we’ve been super busy since returning but our weekend was a little bubble of fun in between.
