Last week we were lucky enough to be invited to a fabulous press day at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse to try out some of their fun summer activities. We had a brilliant day, really good fun and lovely to explore somewhere I haven’t visited for at least 15 years!Continue reading Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse
The East Anglia Transport Museum is another new find for us this year. Unlike some of the other places we have visited for the first time, this one we hadn’t even heard of! This is really sad as I genuinely feel like I have deprived L of a few years worth of fun. Simply put, we love it and if you are looking for a fun day out over the summer holidays I couldn’t recommend this more.
After a lovely morning flying owls at Lavenham Falconry, we wanted to make the most of our child free day. At the recommendation of the guys at the falconry centre we headed to Kentwell Hall. We had never visited before and it sounded amazing. We were not let down and I only wish we had taken L with us as he would have loved it, it is so child friendly!
One of our favourite day trips is The City of Norwich Aviation Museum.
It is a particular favourite of L and his Daddy, to the point they got themselves an annual pass (£10 per adult or £20 for a family pass). On occasion, however, it is permitted for me to go with them!
I hadn’t visited the Museum of Norwich at The Bridewell since I was a kid. A middle school trip if I recall. Today L and I had been invited along to see the half term activities that Dipple & Conway Opticians had teamed up with them for to mark their centenary.
We’d already done loads that morning and I was worried L wouldn’t really be in the right mood, plus I woefully unprepared for a day out with a three year old.
