Back to School with Phomemo D30 Label Maker

After the Christmas break L was excited to get back to school and I was excited to get back a bit of normality, but it wasn’t to be. Well they went back for a day didn’t they! Depending on where you are in the country you’ll have faced differing messages and rules about the return to school but for us, we got one day back in the classrooms and then a mad scramble to arrange childcare and homeschooling. At least I was going to be organised with the Phomemo D30 Label Maker.

However, fast forward a few months, and it becomes a chore we like to forget about. There will always be something more important to do than have a wardrobe clear out, or to start cleaning all the windows.

Our First Experience of Barracudas Day Activity Camp – Norwich

L spent the first two days of his Easter Break at Barracudas Day Activity Camp in Norwich with his best mate. I was so happy to get to work with them this year, and despite being super organised about it, I would be lying if I said I had no concerns. Well now he has been and I am delighted, truly delighted. So I thought I’d share a little bit about our experience.

Barracudas First Time Checklist

It’s not long until L and his friend get to check out the fun packed activities on offer at Barracudas Day Activity Camps. I’m so happy to be sending him and couldn’t be more excited to get to work with such a fun loving, child focused company.

Feeling Calm

We’ve never been before so I am obviously a bit nervous. What to bring, what to do, what to expect? It’s all new to me. So I’ve created a checklist of things to do before we go and I thought other parents in the same boat may find it useful.

Manuscript Pens – Review

I’m not sure when it happened, but at some point Christmas has become an organisational nightmare. With childcare to arrange, gifts to source and wrap, food to buy, relatives to see, posting dates, charity jumper days, school fayres and plays plus a million other little things to get done, a to do list just doesn’t cut it.

Having had the pleasure of using Neusu products before I’m very pleased to announce I have now become a Brand Ambassador for them.

So expect plenty of posts throughout the year highlighting their amazing home storage solutions and finding out how I have been using them.

We took our first delivery several weeks ago and I’ll admit it has taken some thinking to come up with ways to use everything I received. What I love about the products is how multi functional, strong and easy to use they are.  Continue reading Home storage Solutions from Neusu

Things to Know About Working from Home #4

Managing time is crucial

When I started blogging two years ago the aim was to help me find a way, any way, to stay at home. I tried a few different things, took a few courses and found myself working as a Social Media Manager. I was able to leave my admin job and am now officially self employed. I thought I would start sharing some of the things I have learnt along the way.

I work from home, have a toddler to contend with and would like to pretend I have a social life, or at least the potential for one, so I have to be organised. Ridiculously so! So I make lists, lots of them, here are just a few of my list tips.
