At the start of each new year, everyone begins making a huge effort to take on the year with a cleaner, more organised home. It starts off being a not-so-daunting task, as we become filled with new year inspiration to keep our homes in tip-top condition.
However, fast forward a few months, and it becomes a chore we like to forget about. There will always be something more important to do than have a wardrobe clear out, or to start cleaning all the windows.
Keeping your home clean and organised doesn’t have to be as dull as it sounds. When your home is tidy and in order, those day-to-day jobs suddenly feel easier, and life seems to run more smoothly.
So, if having an organised and clean home can make such an impact on our life and mood, then surely we all want to know how to stick to it?
Here are six ways to enjoy a cleaner, more organised home all year round.
L spent the first two days of his Easter Break at Barracudas Day Activity Camp in Norwich with his best mate. I was so happy to get to work with them this year, and despite being super organised about it, I would be lying if I said I had no concerns. Well now he has been and I am delighted, truly delighted. When I started blogging two years ago the aim was to help me find a way, any way, to stay at home. I tried a few different things, took a few courses and found myself working as a Social Media Manager. I was able to leave my admin job and am now officially self employed. I thought I would start sharing some of the things I have learnt along the way.
I work from home, have a toddler to contend with and would like to pretend I have a social life, or at least the potential for one, so I have to be organised. Ridiculously so! So I make lists, lots of them, here are just a few of my list tips.
