Tomorrow (9th October) sees the launch of the new Ben 10 Power Trip video game and we’ve been lucky enough to have had a few days in advance to see what it’s all about. I’ve popped the game trailer below, so you can see what it’s all about.Continue reading Ben 10 Power Trip – Video Game Review
My baby boy is now 6 years old. SIX!! How did that even happen? This year I was very clear to him that he could either have a party with all of his school chums, or he could have a special day out with his bestie.
He opted for a special day out, which was lovely and perfect (and a real relief as it was cheaper and more fun for me) but I had a surprise up my sleeve for him. As a treat I said he could invite three friends round for a birthday tea after school, so he could have cake and a but of fun.Continue reading A Happy Birthday with ZURU Bunch-O-Balloons Party
Is it only me or has party season really kicked off? With a party next week and two in April the kid has a better social life than I do. Trouble is, gifts! What do you get? He has only been at school since September, one of these kids I don’t know at all, one I know the mum but have no idea what the girl likes and the third I think I have an idea but I’m honestly far from sure.
Enter Zuru, with a great range of toys they are well and truly to the rescue.Continue reading A Zuru Party Bag

This plus that equals…. A Valentine’s Day Party
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about celebrating Valentine’s Day. Husb and I aren’t all that romantic, never have been, never will be. I still like Valentine’s Day though, but for me it’s about far more than just couples. It’s about love and sharing the love. So to have a bit of fun with L we had a Valentine’s Day Party.

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about what presents L got for his birthday, lucky boy and what makes great 4th birthday gifts.
This plus that equals…. what’s in my bag
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about what’s in my bag. I’ve actually managed to make the switch to an actual adult bag. Still a rucksack, but a nice one. I don’t miss those changing bag days at all!
This plus that equals…. October plans
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about my plans for the coming month.
This week it was my bestest friend’s birthday and the week before it was her daughter’s, so what better thing to do than to throw them a mini birthday party. Thank to The Great Little Party Company that was easy.

To celebrate the launch of Hartley’s new Mixed Berry Glitter Jelly they sent us a lovely box of goodies so we could have our own sparkly party.
I’m always happy to have an impromptu party, especially a glittery one. As we had been enjoying such glorious weather it made sense to get out in the garden with a barbecue and our decorations to enjoy our party. Continue reading A Sparkly Glitter Party with Hartley’s Jelly
