For the longest time I have wanted to get an item of jewelry personalised with L’s name, fingerprint or date of birth. Just something special I can wear everyday and is special to me. I was delighted to be able to review some of the lovely mom jewelry from Centime.

Kingdom of You from Wonderbly – Review
We’ve worked with Wonderbly several times in the past when they were known as Lost My Name and I couldn’t wait to help them celebrate their amazing rebrand with a review of the fabulous Kingdom of You.

My Name Label Review
When the guys at My Name Label got in touch to see if I would like to try out some of their labels for clothing, shoes and belongings their timing couldn’t have been better.
I had actually been looking online to buy some labels for L’s things, but I didn’t really know what to go for, or if what I chose would be any good. I needed shoe labels, this is what had sparked the search, but I also wanted to be able to label things like his water bottle, toys, coats and clothes. Everything really.

My Travels with El Camino Bracelets
I always consider myself lucky that I get to try new things as a blogger and still find it strange that people value my opinion. Every now and then I get to try something that really stands out from the crowd and I fell luckier still, that’s exactly how I feel about El Camino.

The concept is simple, a charm bracelet dedicated to travel, but the reality is fun and stylish and most importantly affordable. Continue reading My Travels with El Camino Bracelets

What I would love for Mother’s Day
So for Mother’s Day all I really want is to spend time with my little family, maybe go to the beach for a walk or be treated to a nice lunch out.
If I were to be purchased something and this truly is the biggest hint I can make, ahem ahem, then here are a few things I would love.

Explaining Dementia
How do I explain to my son why his he can go to some of Great Grandparents houses, but he has to visit one in a care home? How do I explain to him that a care home is not a hospital or the doctors, despite the similarities? How do I explain why his Great Nanny gets confused, or angry, or cries, or says things that upset daddy?

For an adult these things are overwhelming and for us there are many other health issues that need to be taken into account, not just the dementia, that hit hard and fast and appeared almost like a side affect to a fall but never left. Continue reading Explaining Dementia
We Are Family
I think I may have found the perfect Valentine’s Day gift, or Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day actually.
The We Are Family Journal from Illustries.
It’s a beautiful hardback A4 book, printed in navy and classic brown and filled with page upon page of wonderfully printed ideas and themes to fill out for your family.

I love it for it’s simple and elegant look, it is a perfect ‘coffee table’ book. It is stylish and unlike other memory books I have seen it isn’t overly girly, it is a much for my husband as it is for me, which I really like.
