Visit Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure This Summer

We love Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure and have visited many, many times over the years. It has something for everyone and is the perfect way to spend a day this summer.

Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure

I’ve written in depth about Roarr! before, covering all the reasons we think it’s great. Today I’m just going to cover some reasons it’s fab during the summer.

Summer at Barracudas Activity Day Camps

L spent 4 days of his first week off school with the guys and girls (and fish) of Barracudas in Norwich. He went with his best friend and had a blast.

I’ve already spoken about how much he enjoyed it when he went at Easter, and how helpful I’ve found it as a childcare solution. I’ve worried about what to do as a first time attendee/parent at the camp.

Holkham Country Fair

Recently L and I spent an amazing day at Holkham Country Fair. We were guests for the day and had Vice Presidents tickets, so had a lovely base to explore from and go back to when wanted a bit of a break. We had so much fun and will certainly be returning for the next fair.

What was there

There was so much at the fair. Amazing displays in the centre ring, plenty of shopping, a fairground, food village, vintage cars and tractors, animals and more. We literally didn’t manage to see everything and were there for 5 hours. All of this with the stunning Holkham Hall as your backdrop, we couldn’t have asked for a better day out.

Mål Paper – Daily Goal Setter

It’s no secret that I love a good list. Planning makes me happy and my love for stationery sits nicely right alongside that. I have to do lists in all shapes and sizes, notepads, jotters, and an amazing planner that I just adore. But I was missing something on the day to day front, which is where Mål Paper come in.

Easy Lunch Box Fillers with Shaken Udder

I don’t have to pack a lunch for L yet, he gets free school meals because he’s still little. So when it came to sending him off to Barracudas Activity Day Camps over Easter I was thrown!

He needed enough for a full day, it needed to be tasty, filling and ok out of the fridge. Two snacks, at least, plus lunch. I dropped him off at 9am and didn’t have to pick him up until 4.30pm. That’s a lot of time and a lot of food. Not even taking into account all the running around they would be doing.

Summer Healing with Elastoplast

We know that as the sun comes out we all crawl off the sofa and outdoors for some much needed vitamin D. With this comes family adventures through the forest or runs on the beach, but with all this fun often comes cuts and scrapes.

This summer L has ditched the stabilisers so we’re literally just waiting for the first tumble and grazed elbows and knees. Plus we are literally living in a building site at the moment!

Kally Kids Pillow – Review

We have tried to make L’s room as comfortable and calm as possible, for a good night sleep. But we also made sure he put his own mark on it, picking paint colours, carpet and bedding. He adores his bed and we climb up there to read every night but he wanted it to be more like a sofa, for us and for him, during reading time. So when we saw the Kally Kids Pillow I knew it would perfectly. What I didn’t appreciate were the other benefits it would bring.
