Last week we received the Pokémon Carry Case Playset to review. L loves Pikachu and know sof Pokémon, but has never watched the cartoons on TV or played the games. It’s more just something he’s picked up on school, but I thought this great set could change things.
Well that’s it, he’s back to school. Today is the end of his first week and we have had a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Tears, anxiety, worry, excitement, joy. I won’t say it’s been great to have him back in school, but it hasn’t been bad either. Just another change to get used to. Overall it’s been tough but manageable.
Omega-3 helps keep our hearts, brains and vision healthy, great! But how do we make sure we’re getting enough of it? What even is enough of it? Do we just have to eat all the fish? What if you don’t like fish? Or you need to eat so much of it you run out of time to eat other things? Helpfully Bioglan are here to help in a practical way.
We are so lucky to have been sent some of the Playmobil Dinos sets to review and it was fair to say from the moment they arrived L was rather excited, but due to some less than desirable behaviour he had to wait a little while until he could open them. Not great for me as I like to crack on with reviews but sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do as a parent.
We spent a very happy and hot day at Roarr! with a very happy and hot child this week. During lockdown I had asked L to write down anything that he wanted to do once we were able and visiting the dinosaurs was on that list, so when we were gifted tickets to visit I couldn’t wait to tell him.
L has been playing with one of the new kits in the So Sand DIY range, the Satisfying Sand Ball Case. You can’t go wrong with a bit of magic sand to play with over the long summer holidays, especially on those days when the weather isn’t great and you’re stuck inside.
We have been lucky enough to have been sent a lovely box of the new Season 8 Roblox toys from Jazwares so that we can review them.
L loving his new Roblox toys from Jazwares
L is a big fan of Roblox and though he doesn’t play the game much, mainly because I don’t understand it, I’m rubbish at these things, he really likes watching Roblox videos and playing with the toys.
L has spent the last week playing with some of the toys from the new Scooby Doo range from Character Options to celebrate the launch of the new movie, Scoob! in the US.
He’s had a blast with them, they are so fabulous.
We got a multi pack of figurines, including Scooby, Shaggy, Dick Dastardly, Blue Falcon, Black Rotten and Dusty Rotten. Then he got the Mystery Machine as well and it is awesome.
L was recently sent the new Ben 10 Omni Cycle toy. It’s bright green, transforms and comes with a Ben 10 character to ride it. Retailing at £19.99 it’s not too expensive, so great if you want to treat your children especially with the Easter holidays looming.
Last week we spent a truly magical 4 nights at Bluestone, a fantastic resort in Pembrokeshire. If you haven’t heard about Bluestone it’s well worth checking them out, they offer self catering holidays in a range of lodges and apartments in their very own National Park resort. Surrounded by ancient forests with entertainment on tap you get a marvellous mix of their very special brand of free range fun.
