Last Monday the kid and I headed into Norwich for a fab influencer party at Norwich Castle. An amazing way to kick off the summer holidays I think you’ll all agree!
Norwich Castle is already a firm favourite of ours. I’ve been visiting since I was a child and we’ve loved watching it change and evolve over the years. It’s now a super easy day out for us to enjoy with L, it’s got a bit of everything and we can always find something to do that suits his mood. If it’s checking out the animals in the natural history section, riding a chariot with the Iceni or learning about WW2 we can do it.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about my plans for the Summer holidays, they are fast approaching and I’ve been starting to plan.
Well that’s one week of the final half term of school done and dusted, only five weeks of school left. If you’re a working parent like me you’ll already be planning for the long six week break of summer.
I’m ridiculously lucky at my work and have been able to book most of the break off as annual leave. I’ve had to rope the inlaws in for a few days and obviously my husband can take time off as well. However, despite that I’ve still had one week left to cover and only having one week makes me one of the lucky ones! Most of my friends are at their wits end trying to make it all work.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about our plans for the May half term. I can’t quite believe that we’re at the halfway mark of the Summer term and that he has nearly completed his first year at school.
Over the Easter Holidays we had a lovely mini break in London. It was fab to have a really good explore and a lovely way for me to relax after all the goings on at home! We only had one real plan for our break and that was a trip to Shrek’s Adventure.
We had visited Shrek once before over Christmas and had a wonderful time. On one hand I was very excited to be returning, on the other I was worried that as we had visited once and it was no longer a surprise, that it might not be as good a second time round.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about back how we spent our Easter Break. Not that I’m sat on the sofa waiting for him to finish school, no, not at all.
