We’re big fans of So Slime DIY here. It’s quick, easy, mess free and a lot of fun. So what is the perfect thing to do on a rainy day during the summer holidays? A day where we just want to chill at home? Make Slime, that’s what! So Slime DIY Slimelicious to be precise.
Last week we were lucky enough to be invited to a fabulous press day at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse to try out some of their fun summer activities. We had a brilliant day, really good fun and lovely to explore somewhere I haven’t visited for at least 15 years!
This summer we visited Pensthorpe Natural Park for the first time, ridiculous as we are local! It is amazing. Really amazing. We had the best day. There is so much to do we can’t wait to visit again to catch the bits we missed and to repeat our fave bits. I can’t sing its praises enough but I shall try to keep this review a reasonable length, promise.
We love Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure and have visited many, many times over the years. It has something for everyone and is the perfect way to spend a day this summer.
I’ve written in depth about Roarr! before, covering all the reasons we think it’s great. Today I’m just going to cover some reasons it’s fab during the summer.
Last Monday the kid and I headed into Norwich for a fab influencer party at Norwich Castle. An amazing way to kick off the summer holidays I think you’ll all agree!
Norwich Castle
Norwich Castle is already a firm favourite of ours. I’ve been visiting since I was a child and we’ve loved watching it change and evolve over the years. It’s now a super easy day out for us to enjoy with L, it’s got a bit of everything and we can always find something to do that suits his mood. If it’s checking out the animals in the natural history section, riding a chariot with the Iceni or learning about WW2 we can do it.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about what makes the good days, good.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about my plans for the Summer holidays, they are fast approaching and I’ve been starting to plan.
Well that’s one week of the final half term of school done and dusted, only five weeks of school left. If you’re a working parent like me you’ll already be planning for the long six week break of summer.
I’m ridiculously lucky at my work and have been able to book most of the break off as annual leave. I’ve had to rope the inlaws in for a few days and obviously my husband can take time off as well. However, despite that I’ve still had one week left to cover and only having one week makes me one of the lucky ones! Most of my friends are at their wits end trying to make it all work.
