I’ve recently been trying out the Vegan Life Immune Multi-Vit, one of the supplements in the Vegan Life range. Vegan Life offer targeted nutrition for Vegans and Vegetarians, or just anyone who wants a good vitamin that is sustainable.
I am pescatarian and have been my whole life, but that isn’t what drew me to Vegan Life, it was the fully compostable packaging and sustainably sourced ingredients. I am actively trying to reduce our plastic use and general waste and this is just a super easy swap. I take a daily multivitamin already, now I can continue doing so without the plastic.
Omega-3 helps keep our hearts, brains and vision healthy, great! But how do we make sure we’re getting enough of it? What even is enough of it? Do we just have to eat all the fish? What if you don’t like fish? Or you need to eat so much of it you run out of time to eat other things? Helpfully Bioglan are here to help in a practical way.
Child or adult the back to school season is stressful. There is a lot to get organised and a lot of change. You would have thought L starting reception last year and having gone through a year of school I would be ready for Year 1 but I am just not.
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about Mental Health. Not actually because it is mental health awareness week in the UK but because I am struggling, a lot, and it helps to talk and I think (hope) it helps others to see how normal it is.
The kids at school have been dropping like flies. Of the 16 children in L’s class only 8 were lined up to go in to the class last Monday morning. I’ll be honest, this filled with me with fear, it’s seems to be more when will he get ill, not if.
I have struggled with depression, anxiety and stress for the vast majority of my adult life. It comes and goes in waves, for the most part it is entirely manageable but I’m always looking for ways keep on top of things. So when I heard about Mikei Red Reishi I was eager to try it.
Mikei Red Reishi has unique properties to help your body manage stress and balance energy levels, so perfect for me.
So in about a year I am going to be a bridesmaid for my little sister. This is just the kind of goal I need to diet, start losing some weight and getting healthier, which all ties in nicely with my quest to be a calmer, happier and healthier person.
I have decided to vlog about my journey as that will give me a visual reminder of where I’ve been and where I am and as it’s something that makes me rather uncomfortable it will also help to keep me in check. Plus it’s always good to push yourself.
