We are so lucky to have been sent some of the Playmobil Dinos sets to review and it was fair to say from the moment they arrived L was rather excited, but due to some less than desirable behaviour he had to wait a little while until he could open them. Not great for me as I like to crack on with reviews but sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do as a parent.Continue reading Playmobil Dinos – Review
L has been playing with one of the new kits in the So Sand DIY range, the Satisfying Sand Ball Case. You can’t go wrong with a bit of magic sand to play with over the long summer holidays, especially on those days when the weather isn’t great and you’re stuck inside.Continue reading So Sand DIY
We have been lucky enough to have been sent a lovely box of the new Season 8 Roblox toys from Jazwares so that we can review them.
L is a big fan of Roblox and though he doesn’t play the game much, mainly because I don’t understand it, I’m rubbish at these things, he really likes watching Roblox videos and playing with the toys.Continue reading New Roblox Season 8 Toys
L has spent the last week playing with some of the toys from the new Scooby Doo range from Character Options to celebrate the launch of the new movie, Scoob! in the US.
He’s had a blast with them, they are so fabulous.
We got a multi pack of figurines, including Scooby, Shaggy, Dick Dastardly, Blue Falcon, Black Rotten and Dusty Rotten. Then he got the Mystery Machine as well and it is awesome.Continue reading New Scooby Doo Toys
L was recently sent the new Ben 10 Omni Cycle toy. It’s bright green, transforms and comes with a Ben 10 character to ride it. Retailing at £19.99 it’s not too expensive, so great if you want to treat your children especially with the Easter holidays looming.Continue reading Ben 10 Omni Cycle Toy Review
L loves Blippi and has done for so long now. It all started through his love of tractors and us trying to find some suitable and not completely boring tractor videos for him to watch on YouTube.
Blippi was there for us and as L has grown so has Blippi, with videos for every occasion, music albums, books, clothes and toys. A lot of which have only been available in America. But the toys have now launched in the UK and we were sent a huge box of them to celebrate.Continue reading Blippi Toys Are in the UK
My baby boy is now 6 years old. SIX!! How did that even happen? This year I was very clear to him that he could either have a party with all of his school chums, or he could have a special day out with his bestie.
He opted for a special day out, which was lovely and perfect (and a real relief as it was cheaper and more fun for me) but I had a surprise up my sleeve for him. As a treat I said he could invite three friends round for a birthday tea after school, so he could have cake and a but of fun.Continue reading A Happy Birthday with ZURU Bunch-O-Balloons Party
The So Magic DIY Wonder Garden has been a revelation for us. It is a wonderful toy on many, many levels. Some obvious, some not so obvious.
The main idea of the Wonder Garden is to create your very own little world. With a sparkling slime pool, coloured sand gardens, arches, decorations, stones and cute little animals all surrounding the centerpiece. A crystal tree you get to grow and watch transform over 12 hours.Continue reading So Magic DIY Wonder Garden
With cousins and younger friends visiting it’s nice to have some toys in the house that everyone can play with. Something not too young for L, but fun and safe enough for our younger guests too.
The new range of GOULA wooden toys from Jumbo Games fit the bill perfectly. Aimed at preschoolers they are still of interest to L and allow him to ‘teach’ his friends how to play and everyone is happy and occupied.Continue reading Wonderful Wooden Toys from Goula
All summer long we had builders in working on our extension. Mostly the weather was great so we were just chilling out in the garden, or we had days out planned. When we were tired we still had an internet connection so we could watch Netflix in the conservatory. It genuinely wasn’t too bad.
However, some days we were home, the weather was rubbish and on many of those days we had no internet as, on occasion, it had to be unplugged so things could be built. Those days were long. So freaking long.Continue reading The Perfect Toy For Surviving Building Work
