CarGoSeat is an on the go booster seat. It was created to solve the problem of arriving on holiday and finding that you’d paid a fortune to hire a battered and bruised booster seat, that maybe wasn’t even safe, or worse, finding that you couldn’t get one at all.
After writing about some grown up Halloween experiences last week, it got me thinking about much fun it really would be to get away and do something different this year. That being said, I still the love the idea of having some flexibility around when you actually travel and not having to commit to dates unless you are ready to, so I’ve come up with some more options but this time from the fabulous Red Letter Days.
Last week we received the Pokémon Carry Case Playset to review. L loves Pikachu and know sof Pokémon, but has never watched the cartoons on TV or played the games. It’s more just something he’s picked up on school, but I thought this great set could change things.
Last week we spent a truly magical 4 nights at Bluestone, a fantastic resort in Pembrokeshire. If you haven’t heard about Bluestone it’s well worth checking them out, they offer self catering holidays in a range of lodges and apartments in their very own National Park resort. Surrounded by ancient forests with entertainment on tap you get a marvellous mix of their very special brand of free range fun.
All summer long we had builders in working on our extension. Mostly the weather was great so we were just chilling out in the garden, or we had days out planned. When we were tired we still had an internet connection so we could watch Netflix in the conservatory. It genuinely wasn’t too bad.
However, some days we were home, the weather was rubbish and on many of those days we had no internet as, on occasion, it had to be unplugged so things could be built. Those days were long. So freaking long.
As you all know the Easter break was a bit of a mixed bag for me, swapping form fun days out with the kid to funerals. What kept me going was the knowledge that we had a mini break in London booked, a stress free break with no driving and lots of fun.
There are so many baby products out there it can be hard to know what to buy, either for yourself or if you are getting gifts for others. Apramo have some amazing car accessories that are so useful and a must for any parent. A truly useful gift.
When I had L I made sure to check all the lists and get all the things they said you would need for a new baby. Some I did need and found really useful, nursing pillow, bouncer, baby bath. Some I most definitely did not need, like the Bumbo, room thermometer and dummies. Because you see, different kids, need different things and you’ll work most of it out as you go along.
