Last weekend we took L to Bowling House in Norwich for a little treat. It may or may not have escaped your attention but L started school in September. I have not been handling it well! I was given plenty of advice from plenty of people but the one thing that stuck with me was from a friend of mine who simply said, make sure you have some nice things planned. Until this year, whilst L has been an an odd in between stage, I could often be found out on my bike with L. Never once did I think of taking a first aid kit, not because I couldn’t see a need, I just couldn’t really think of an easy way to carry one with me. SJ Works have created the perfect solution and I’ve been so pleased to get to try it out.
In a couple of weeks it is my husband’s birthday. One week after L’s as it happens. The last few years his birthdays haven’t been so special, I’ll be honest. So this year I wanted to treat him to something lovely and I got him some fabulous and very special prints from Posterlounge. Continue reading Posterlounge Review and Competition
We love Rubik’s in our house and were very jealous earlier in the year when he got sent some of the Rubik’s Junior animal puzzles, so to level the playing field a bit we’ve been sent a classic puzzle and a 2×2 version of the classic for kids, to help get us ready for school. There was also another animal puzzle for L so he didn’t feel left out. Continue reading Back to School with Rubik’s
Do you ever hear about something or see something and immediately know it is a genius idea and wish you had come up with it? Well when The Field got in touch to tell me about their amazing range of toy fields for children I felt that way. I knew it would be the perfect addition to L’s play, that he would adore it and use it all the time. I also enjoyed the simple idea and wished I had thought of it first.

While Mrs May is checking her students’ homework, she notices that Jet hasn’t managed to write down the letters of the alphabet. Instead of providing a familiar excuse, Jet offers Mrs May an elaborate story about how every letter happened to leave his page while he was walking to school that morning. Well that’s it, summer is nearly over. I can’t believe it has flown by so fast and I really cannot believe that this time next week we will be sitting down in L’s school to have a final chat with his teacher before he starts! We’ve had a great time as Super Wings Brand Ambassadors and since our last update completed all of the #SuperSummerMissions.
