My baby boy is now 6 years old. SIX!! How did that even happen? This year I was very clear to him that he could either have a party with all of his school chums, or he could have a special day out with his bestie.
He opted for a special day out, which was lovely and perfect (and a real relief as it was cheaper and more fun for me) but I had a surprise up my sleeve for him. As a treat I said he could invite three friends round for a birthday tea after school, so he could have cake and a but of fun.
L loves dinosaurs and he loves Zuru Smashers, so he was super happy when they released their third series of smashers that were all dino themed. You can only imagine his joy when he received a HUGE Dino Smasher Egg. The Dino Epic Egg to be precise.
Well it’s here, the last day of the school holidays. I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter and enjoyed the break. We certainly did and the weather was fabulous. Over the holidays L was sent a fabulous selection of the latest Smashers from Zuru. The Series 3 Smashers are all Dino themed and with plenty of eggs to smash, they were the perfect Easter toy!
Is it only me or has party season really kicked off? With a party next week and two in April the kid has a better social life than I do. Trouble is, gifts! What do you get? He has only been at school since September, one of these kids I don’t know at all, one I know the mum but have no idea what the girl likes and the third I think I have an idea but I’m honestly far from sure.
Enter Zuru, with a great range of toys they are well and truly to the rescue.
