You may remember a couple of weeks ago I shared that intu Chapelfield would be hosting some rather large bugs in the centre for a fun and interactive tour. Well we went and enjoyed a sneak peak of the tour on the opening morning so I thought I’d share it with you.
It’s great fun and well worth doing if you’re heading into Norwich. It doesn’t take too long and is all inside the centre. The models are fabulous and there are fun facts about each bug to be read.
On top of the facts you can actually text the bugs and they will talk to you!! How much fun is that?
There is a fun quiz to complete as you enjoy the trail and you’ll get a certificate at the end as well as a voucher to get your very own bug house from Flying Tiger at half price, when we visited that made the bug houses 50p as they were only £1 full price. Such a bargain and it has meant we have been able to take a little memento of our day home and continue all the bug chat and nature learning.
Excitingly this Saturday, the 14th, you’ll be able to join a Big Bug Tour. With guides taking small groups around intu Chapelfield it is a lot of fun and L especially loved being able to to chat to the brilliant tour guides and get fully immersed in the explorer style fun.
If you miss the tour this weekend the bugs are hanging round until September 28th, so there’s plenty of time to see them.
So if you needed a little inspiration for this weekend why not head into Norwich and track down the 12 giant bugs for yourself.
Disclosure – we were guests of Chapelfield for our tour and were treated to a lovely gift bag. All thoughts, opinions and images are my own.
