It is no secret that I love to craft, so I am really excited to be attending Kirstie Allsopp’s Handmade Fair at Hampton Court this year. Running from the 15th to the 17th of September this year looks like it will be fantastic.

I’ve been to The Christmas Handmade Fair in Manchester before and that was just wonderful. I loved looking round all of the stores. Talking to so many people about the things they make and sell. Learning new skills too. I can honestly say it was the best show of it’s type I have been to. So I am thoroughly looking forward to trying out the original Handmade Fair and seeing what is on offer.
I shall be taking my mum along with me as an early birthday present. It’s a big birthday this year and she deserves spoiling. We’ll be there for the weekend. I discovered at the Christmas Fair that one day just isn’t enough and in fact two days was pushing it. I would go for all three if it were practical with work.

At this year’s fair there will be the brilliant Super Theatre, Skills Workshops, and Grand Makes which are so interactive and enjoyable, plus you could go away having learned a new skill. There will be over 300 hand-picked sellers will fill the two fantastic shopping villages, I am going to spend so much money! Of course there will be loads of choice when it comes to food and drink too.
I’m looking forward to the Mollie Makes Mash Up and hopefully I will get to try out making my own wooden floral wreath as well. I’d love to try out the Wirework Dragonfly and all the Janome Sewing Classes sound amazing. I could literally fill both the days I’ll be there with Grand Makes and Master Classes. I highly reccomend them from my Christmas experience.

This sounds fab! Always jealous of all the events that yu have on down south! Bit far for me to travel tho! Great post x
Everything does seem to be centred round London doesn’t it. I get fed up driving from Norfolk but in comparison to some that’s nothing. They have a Christmas fair in Manchester which is epic though!
