This plus that equals…. excitement
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about things I’m excited about at the moment.
I’m coming to the end of this year’s diary which means it’s nearly time to get a fresh one. I love, love, love the Life Books from Box Clever Press and as the 2019 book has already been released it means I can get it and start getting it set up.
I know it sounds likes a rubbish thing to get excited about, but honestly, I get a little tingly feeling in my stomach when I start thinking about a fresh, crisp new diary and filling everything in.
Both L and husb have their birthdays coming up and I’m starting get them organised. I’ll be honest I’m more excited about L’s.
We’ve got him a bike for his birthday and a combine that he wanted and I’m going to get him all the balloons. I’m looking at cake ideas so I can bake him something fabulous.
Basically I am going to go completely over the top and spoil him rotten and I’m so excited I could burst!
I’ve got some awesome craft projects lined up. Halloween with Hobbycraft, me and the kid are already getting a bit painty and glittery doing them. Some awesome candles to make from this months Makerly Craft box, cannot wait to do them.
I’ve also got a very shiny new sewing machine so I can showcase some beginners sewing projects for Hobbycraft.
It is so beautiful and it means I get to buy some gorgeous fabrics and go crazy all in the name of work. It will sew a buttonhole, has an extendable plate for sleeves and the like, I’m not sure there is anything as exciting as a new sewing machine.
I know I wittered on about Autumn last week, but I really do love it.
The air is really changing round here, fresh breezes and the smell of fires burning. It’s still unseasonably warm but the leaves are changing and I’ve just bought a new coat.
I love it, but I’m not sure I can pull it off, it’s mustard yellow with a big fluffy hood. I just worry it is more fashionable than I can pull off!
I can basically taste the hot chocolate I shall have at the end of our first proper autumnal beach walk. I might even take L one afternoon this week.
I’ve not written about it much, just a little mention here and there as I don’t want the pressure.
But I’m very excited as it’s actually working. I’ve been doing Weight Watchers for nearly four months and slowly but surely I am steadily losing weight. It is working and I’m feeling excited about it.
I actually feel like I am winning this time, that I might get to where I want to. That winning feeling is very exciting.
Finally, I’m linking up with #TwinklyTuesday, #Blogstravaganza and #StayClassyMama
