This plus that equals…. July plans
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about my plans for July.

School’s Out
Oh I may have to wait until nearly the end of July but the Summer Holidays are nearly here and that means so much time with my boy and I couldn’t be more excited.
I’m excited for the time off work and for being able to just spend some time with the kid, with no rushing and trying to fit everything in around school and work.
We’re going to have so much fun!

Building, building, building
It’s started. The extension has begun and July will see it really take shape.
We’re only one week in and already have foundations, so July will see the walls and roof. It will see all the outer physical change to the property.
It will be messy and challenging but at the same time it will be great to see so much change and very satisfying.

Crafts
When I caught up with a friend the other week she had bought me a crafting journal and I have started it for July.
I’ve planned what I want to do and actually made some time for myself. I love to craft but it always get put to the bottom of the pile, so to actually plan and document what I’m doing is a real treat. I’m looking forward to it.
I also think it will help my mental state, it’s always good for me as I find it relaxing and focusing all at the same time. It’ very satisfying.

Holkham Country Fair
I’m really looking forward to this one. We’ve never been before and have been invited along to have a look this year.
I like to try and visit somewhere new or do something new each month so at least I know that’s being ticked off.
The fair itself looks brilliant, filled with all the things we like to see and do and I reckon the kid will have a blast. Plus, Holkham Hall is super pretty and it’s been ages since we visited, so it will be a lovely backdrop to the day.

Gin Night
When I caught up with the girls for a few drinks last week we were sensible enough to book in a date for our next gathering, very unusual for us to be so organised.
So I’ve got a night of gin, chat and laughter to look forward to.
For a worst case scenario job, it sure bought me the best of friends, even if I don;t work with them anymore!
Finally, I’m linking up with #TwinklyTuesday and #StayClassyMama
I have definitely lost my crafting time recently (so want to get into it again once Zach does more time at preschool for September) but have never tried watercolours. Thanks for linking up with #stayclassymama

It was the first time doing watercolour for me too, I actually really enjoyed it! We’re doing collages this month, looking forward to it.
A gin night sounds bloomin’ perfect to me! xx #twinklytuesday
I’m very much looking forward to it!
Well, a gin night is always something to look forward to and I think you might need it with all the building work you have going on! And yaay for being one step closer to the school holidays! #TwinklyTuesday
That is exactly why it is planned, to keep me sane 🙂
