This Plus That Equals…. March Plans

This plus that equals…. March Plans

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about my plans for the coming month.

Feeling Calm
Great to have a nice walk and time to myself

Walking

Last month our routine was well and truly thrown into chaos.

Illness, half term and overtime all meant I hardly went anywhere.

March will be different, March I plan on going for a walk after I have dropped L off at school on all of my days off. Not only is it good for my physical health but it makes a world of difference to my mental health.

Walking is important to me, so I shall be walking a lot.

Extension

March should see us finalising the extension plans and getting ready to start work in April.

We’ve very little left to do now. Just get one form signed for the mortgage company to release funds and have one more meeting with our builder and architect.

A couple more signatures here and there and a BT line to be moved so I don’t have to go without Broadband!!!

That’s it, then we’ll be building. It’s so close now.

Feeling Calm
Looking forward to some gins and chatting.

Seeing friends

I have a few dates in the diary to catch up with my friends. It is going to be good.

I love a little catch up and it can be hard with everyone’s schedules but we’ve managed to get a few things sorted and with a lunch here and night out there I will be able to most of my favourite people.

Back to school sadness
Some quiet time will do us good

Not much

We have actually planned a whole lot of nothing this month.

L has been really tired and totally emotional since going back to school after half term so I have tried to keep it fairly quiet for us, not much planned for the evenings or weekends.

There will a lot of family time and not much else, which is perfect I think. Hopefully it will do the trick and we can start building on activities gradually.

I love Cambridge

Something just for me

Every month I make sure to carve out some time for me. Even if it’s just something simple like making sure I get a walk on my own!

This month is special, I mean it will be Mother’s Day after all.

So I am going to Cambridge with another of mum friends. No husbands and no kids, the are as troublesome as each other! We aren’t doing anything fancy, just a night away and some relaxation!

  1. Hope you enjoy Mother’s Day. It is nice to have not many plans and focus on time together. Fingers crossed March is better than February (we also had a crazy month) Thanks for linking up with #stayclassymama
