Treating Myself with Dr. Bronner’s

As a busy mum I don’t get a huge amount of time to pamper myself. Or any actually. So I try to make the simple things, like a shower in the morning, a bit more special by using really lovely products. Like Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap.

Dr. Bronner’s  really appeals to me as is 100% organic and the Baby Mild range can be used for all of us, which is especially handy when travelling. Although at home it’s mainly me using it, because I’m not sharing! Obviously it’s perfectly suited for babies sensitive skin, but anyone with extra sensitive skin or allergies will enjoy it.

It’s really hydrating and has a lovely simple formula, it’s not had loads of things added to it for no reason. I even like the packaging, just plain and simple.

In fact it can be used for so much more than just cleansing your body. You can use it to wash your dishes, add it to your laundry even and there are plenty of different scents available too. The tea tree version is great for cuts and grazes and the lavender is perfect before bed.

There are peppermint, eucalyptus, citrus (my personal favourite), almond, rose, lavender, green tea and tea tree varieties as well as the classic unscented baby mild.

I love how far the smallest amount goes and what a lovely lather it makes. My skin is left really squeaky clean and I even add it to my normal shampoo for the freshest hair. It doesn’t dry my skin out either, so if I don’t get time to moisturise after my shower, which is often, it doesn’t matter quite so much. My skin still feels good.

Mainly, it’s just a little moment of peacefulness and a bit of luxury. Before I have to return to the craziness that is my normal life.

Disclosure – I was sent some samples in return for an honest review.
