CarGoSeat is an on the go booster seat. It was created to solve the problem of arriving on holiday and finding that you’d paid a fortune to hire a battered and bruised booster seat, that maybe wasn’t even safe, or worse, finding that you couldn’t get one at all.
It’s a Group 3 Booster seat meeting the ECE R44/o4 safety regulations, it’s easy to install, has wheels and a handle so it’s easy to transport and is big enough to store all your kids fave teddies and tech for travel. Not that we’ll be flying anywhere anytime soon but it fits in most overhead lockers and complies with hand luggage sizing for most airlines.
Although it was initially created with overseas travel in mind it’s actually really handy for so much more. It’s a perfect spare seat for relatives and friends who look after your child. Super handy for sleepovers as the 10 litre storage capacity is more than enough for jammies and a toothbrush.
It’s wipe clean, easy to convert and comes with a 12 month warranty. This seat has been very well thought out, from beginning to end, even at the end of its life you can send it back to be recycled which is just a fabulous idea.
Suitable for children 125cm or taller and weighing between 22kg and 36kg it has been rigorously crash tested and comes with seat belt guides so you know your child is strapped in properly. It will work in any car that has a built in 3 point seat belt.
It comes in four fun colours, green, blue, pink or purple and costs £49.99.
We recently got our own seat to try out and L loves it. He’s always filling the seat up with little bits and bobs that he needs for his journeys, we couldn’t work out what the odd sound from the car was yesterday and it was one of those Tesco magazines you get for free near the front door, he’d grabbed one and popped it in his seat!
It’s really sturdy and solid, it just feels safe and the seatbelt guide is brilliant at not only keeping the belt in the right position for your child’s safety but it also stops it rubbing there neck and being annoying.
Whilst I love the idea of the seat pad being removable for washing purposes, L has realised it comes off so we have to spend 5 minutes at the start of every journey waiting as he messes about and adjusts it.
We’ll definitely take it away with us if we do make it to Turkey next year, it will be perfect for hand luggage and I know he’ll be safe on the transfer to the hotel with it. Other than that I think it will just make a great second booster for us. The perfect spare to go in grandparents cars when he gets to spend time with them. We’re very pleased with ours.
