How many lunch bags do you go through? The corners get all icky, things get spilt, the zips get clogged up with something unmentionable and then after the school holidays there’s always that worry of finding a three week old satsuma. Even when I was taking my own lunch bag to work it was still difficult to stop the accumulation of crumbs in the corner. That’s why Bibetta make a washable lunch bag. Yes, you heard me, washable. As simple as that.
That was honestly my reaction when they got in touch. What a simple idea, all lunch bags should be washable. With fun and cute designs these neoprene lunch bags are plenty big enough to hold a drink and all your lunch and being neoprene it’s got enough give to stretch around even the oddest shaped lunches. It’s that same thick neoprene fabric that provides great insulation too.
The design has been really well thought out by Bibetta. It opens flat and so can be used as a tray . I’ve lost count of the amount of park picnic benches we’ve eaten at whilst trying to ensure nothing touches the actual surface, a tray would have made life so much easier. There are no sems inside, so no where for crumbs and spillages to get caught, they’ve added a nice sized, soft, rubber grip to the zip pull to make it nice and easy to open. Plus, of course, as I may have mentioned, it’s washable. Both hand wash and machine wash, I even noticed on the tag it can be tumble dried. That’s a real game changer.
