Win a Planter from Stewart Garden

With Winter fast approaching most of us aren’t thinking much about our gardens, I’m certainly not, but now is an ideal time to fill a few planters for some winter colour. It’s quick, easy and makes an immediate difference. Stewart Garden have some wonderful planters to choose from and I have one to giveaway.

The Varese Low planter that is on offer for the prize is tough enough to withstand frosts, comes in three colours so would look great in any garden and at 40cm in height will make an impact.

Create a stylish focal point with this contemporary Varese Low planter. This attractive pot has an authentic textured appearance with all the benefits of high grade plastic – durable, great value, lightweight. Perfect for displaying low growing plants and small ornamental fruit trees.stewart garden

For some winter colour you could go for the classic winter flowering pansy, there’s honestly not anything not to love to about them, plus the flowers should last through until June, so if like me you don’t have hours to spend in the garden, these are a good bet.

For something a bit more dramatic you could go for a Phormium, a lovely red/pink grass, it’s evergreen so will look great all year but helps to brings that flash of colour into a winter garden. Perfect for planters it would be an ideal match.

For a festive feel you could go for a Wintergreen, a low little shrub with bold, evergreen leaves but with big bunches of red berries that give that classic festive look. I love them as they are nice, neat little plants that don’t require much help.

If you want to win this lovely planter then just enter your details into the Gleam App below.

  1. Trying to get our garden straight for when we put our house on the market, so this would be a welcome addition

  2. We just moved house this year and the garden is a mess. We are going to start gutting it in spring next year. This would look fabulous for when it is done

  3. this planter is very stylish and would be perfect outside our front door.

  4. Just moved into an unfurnished flat, and the painter/decorater has judt given me a very sorry looking palm (I think it has been stuck away in a corner somewhere, growing towards the light, as it’s a wee bit bent). So all it needs is turning around occasionally, a good water – and a BIGGER pot (the pot it is in is tiny – the plant roots have come through the holes in the base of the small pot, in a quest for water).

This would be IDEAL. Fingers crossed.
